"Listen to Your Dreams"

This is a one-of-a-kind piece of art made with lots of time and love.
 
It is composed of a number of elements: wood, glass, stone, wire.. all delicately swirled into a magical moonlit landscape.

The original idea of this painting was to make a sunny landscape with green mountains and yellow fields. However, art doesn't like plans or fixed ideas!😉
 
I was looking for something special to use as the sun for the landscape when I finally came across this shell, which was the exact size that I was searching for. That's when the idea changed completely. 
 
Something about the irridescent waves on this round shell inspired me to move the paintbrush in these swirly lines, almost as if I were drawing a landscape out of a dream.. and the sun turned into a moon. I felt inspired to add more shells and dark/light purple tones. The amethyst chrystals and pearls are like beautiful, protecting entities spread throughout the landscape.
 
Underneath the painting are 11 delicately hung strings of Miyuki beads, pearls, amethysts, and Swarovski diamonds.
 
Each bead and each brush stroke was carefully chosen, and my mindset while painting was one of serenity and peace. 
 
My wish is that you will see this painting as a reminder to to listen to your dreams; the ones in the night time (as there is so much you can learn from them), and also your dreams and inspirations that you have in the day time.
 
There's a reason for everything, and there's a reason why you have the dreams that you have. Listen to them 😉
